What founder operating intelligence means

That persistent context is what lets a founder—or a compatible AI assistant—start from current state instead of reconstructing the business from scratch.

The company is the unit of context. A shared founder login can expose many stores, ad accounts, analytics properties, payment accounts, and ledgers. Praecis keeps each selected source mapped to the company it actually belongs to so one business does not silently contaminate another.

Source refreshes run in the background, source health remains visible, and the brief is rebuilt from current canonical evidence. The founder should increasingly enter only where judgment, authorization, or a consequential decision is required.

AI can help without becoming the source of truth

On the authenticated New Company page, Praecis exposes WebMCP setup tools when the capability is enabled. A compatible agent can prepare a structured company draft—including goals, milestones, competitors, next steps, and proposed mappings from already-authorized sources. ChatGPT’s desktop built-in browser supports WebMCP Site tools when they are available for the account and selected model. Provider OAuth and final activation remain controlled by the product and the user.

This matters because the assistant is not asked to remember the company forever. Praecis keeps the durable company context; the assistant can work against that context when a supported surface is available.

Autonomy without pretending everything is autonomous

Praecis has a governed workflow layer for supported delegated actions. Those workflows carry the canonical workspace, company, and next-step identity; consequential actions remain approval-gated; and completion requires independent verification before the next step is reconciled as complete. The current production execution primitive is intentionally narrow—company-source refresh—rather than routing every recommendation into an unconstrained general agent.

That architecture creates a safe path to add more execution capabilities one at a time without changing the core operating model or allowing a model to invent its own authority.
