1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy explains how MimesisIQ LLC (“MimesisIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information through Praecis, including the website at praecis.co and the authenticated application at app.praecis.co.
Praecis is a business operating-intelligence product. The workspace owner controls which companies, provider accounts, team members, and competitors are added to a workspace.
2. Information we collect
Account and workspace information
We process information such as your name, email address, authentication records, workspace role, security and session information, company names, company websites, goals, actions, settings, billing status, and support communications.
Connected-source information
When you authorize a provider, we receive the identifiers, credentials, metadata, and reporting data needed to discover authorized accounts and synchronize the sources you select. Depending on your connections, this may include search performance, advertising, analytics, commerce, payment, lifecycle marketing, accounting reports, audience, engagement, and account-health data.
Technical information
We and our infrastructure providers may process IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, diagnostic logs, security events, and similar technical data needed to operate and protect the service.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure Praecis; authenticate users; connect and synchronize authorized sources; map data to the correct company; display metrics and trends; deliver requested alerts or reports; maintain source health; provide support; prevent abuse; comply with law; and improve reliability and usability.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use connected business data for third-party advertising.
4. Connected services
Praecis can connect to third-party services at your direction, including Google services, Shopify, Stripe, Meta, Klaviyo, QuickBooks Online, Xero, and X. Their own terms and privacy policies govern information they process. You can disconnect a source, although we may retain historical records as described below or as required to preserve the integrity of your workspace.
Authorization credentials are used only to provide the requested connection and synchronization. Praecis does not ask you to enter a provider password into the product when provider-native authorization is available.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Retention can vary by record type. Disconnecting a provider stops future authorized synchronization but may not automatically delete historical metrics or audit records.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, signed sessions, encrypted credential storage, scoped account mapping, and monitored infrastructure. No system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information, subject to verification and applicable exceptions. Workspace owners can manage members, source connections, alerts, and other product settings. You may also revoke provider authorization through the provider's own account controls.
Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.
8. Children, international use, and changes
Praecis is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
We may update this policy as the product changes. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the product or by email.
